1. How do we send artwork and what are the requirements?
It's simple! Just send us your camera-ready artwork by email or courier. The artwork, which can be in colour or in black and white, should either be created in Adobe IIIustrator or Coral Draw as a vectorized file or drawn freehand and saved in Adobe IIIustrator in .ai or .eps format. Unfortunately, we cannot accept faxes, business cards, photographs, or photocopies of any kind. Also, any fonts used in the file must be converted to outlines or supplied along with the file. If you do not have the original, camera-ready artwork, Muldoon Marketing can create it for you.
2. How is the price of embroidery determined?
Once you submit the camera-ready artwork, it will be digitized onto a disk. The price of the disk is determined by the size and stitch-count of the logo. Muldoon will always quote the price of the disk to you before moving forward. From this point, it is the number of stitches in your logo that determines the per unit cost for embroidery.
3. How is the price of screen-printing determined?
Once you submit the camera-ready artwork, it will be printed to film. The price for the film is determined by the number of colours in the logo. Muldoon will always quote the price of the film to you before moving forward. Then screens are made from the film, and the number of colours and the quantity determines the per unit cost for screen-printing.
4. What is the turnaround time for a product?
Generally, lead times are from two to four weeks for in-stock items from the day you give your final approval of the artwork. Custom orders, however, take a bit longer. Shipping then requires from one to ten days, depending on the destination. However, if it is a rush order, we will do our best to meet your required delivery date.
5. What is the minimum quantity for an order?
There is no minimum order for embroidery or screen-printing on clothing, baseball caps, and bags. For other items, the minimum quantities can range from 12 to 1,000. It really is product-specific.
6. What are over/underruns?
There are times when the exact quantity of an order may not be shipped due to damaged items, or poor logo applications, which do not meet our standards. Therefore quantities are subject to an overrun or an underrun of 5 ' 10 % of the amount ordered. You are billed only for the exact amount shipped at the per unit price.
